PTSL specialises in feasibility and scheme design. Our particular expertise is in the upfront problem identification and development of options and solutions for traffic and transportation projects.
Studies include many of the following tasks:
- On-site observations to understand traffic and people behaviour and site constraints that contribute to the problem or may affect solutions.
- Analysis of crash data to understand patterns of crashes or safety issues.
- Data collection including traffic turning counts, pedestrian surveys and journey time surveys.
- Analysis of capacity of intersections (including SIDRA Intersection modelling).
- Preparation of concept design drawings.
- Preparation of Safe System Assessment Frameworks to identify how sites meet the Safe System, specific safety related components and to assist in developing solutions that align with the Safe System.
- Vehicle tracking using industry standard software.
