PTSL has extensive experience in the design of traffic signal intersections. Our team has experience in the UK and in New Zealand including in the design of signalised roundabouts. The range of skills include:
- Development of traffic signal phasing.
- Intersection and network modelling using packages such as SIDRA Intersection 9.
- Preparation of traffic signal design layouts (including ducting, traffic signal poles and displays, detection, road markings etc).
- Development of intersection control strategies.
We have worked on complex signalised intersection designs including intersections with parallel separated bus corridors, interchanges and signalised roundabouts.
